The Lindemann Musicbook POWER 500 is a high performance stereo power amplifier which uses NCore technology. Large power reserves allow the Musicbook POWER 500 stereo power amplifier to drive most loudspeakers with ease.

When added to the Musicbook SOURCE this makes for a very compact system with great looks and a high end sound at a reasonable cost.

Musicbook POWER 500 Features

Stereo or `Vertical` Bi-ampling Mode

A very useful feature of the Musicbook POWER 500 is the ability to operate in a normal stereo power amplifier mode or by adding a second POWER 500 power amplifier a system can be run in `vertical` bi-amping mode.

This useful features not only enables users to bi-amp loudspeakers in the best manner (vertical bi-amp) there is also another feature when used in this mode in that the bass section can be attenuated from +3dB to -6dB (in 1dB steps). This allows the user to obtain the best possible bass integration for a room/loudspeaker.

When adding a second POWER 500 to `vertical` bi-amp there is an easy to operate slide switch on rear panel to select `vertical` bi-amp mode.

Power Supply

Thew power supply for the Musicbook POWER 500 has been custom designed to offer high peak current so even the most demanding music passages can be handled with ease.
